Module 4
Expanding Adaptability
In the last module, we explored resilience—growing the ability to stay with yourself.

Adaptability builds on that—giving you the ability to stay with life as it changes.

Because no matter how grounded or regulated you become, life will continue to shift—sometimes gradually, sometimes unexpectedly.

And when our capacity to adapt is low, we compensate by trying to control.

We plan more. Push harder. Tighten our expectations. Attach to timelines.

But the truth is: life doesn’t operate in straight lines—it moves in rhythms and cycles.

In this module, we explore those rhythms at multiple levels:

Within the body—through breath, heartbeat, and deeper internal movement. Across time—through daily, monthly, and seasonal cycles.

You’ll begin to see how these patterns are not random, but deeply organized expressions of expansion and contraction.

And how much of our stress comes not from life itself—but from resisting change and often, overriding the phase we’re in.

From there, we shift into practice.

Learning to notice what’s happening in real time. To accept it without unnecessary resistance. And to respond in a way that’s aligned with your current capacity.

This is adaptability—not as a concept, but as a lived skill.
