Module 3
Building Resilience
Resilience is one of those words we think we understand—until we really look at how we’ve been living it.
Most of us were taught that resilience means pushing through. Holding more.
Enduring without slowing down.
And for a long time, that might have worked. Or at least… it looked like it did.
But eventually, something starts to shift.
What once felt manageable begins to feel like too much. The pace, the pressure, the constant holding—it doesn’t land in the same way anymore.
This module is about understanding why.
We’re going to reframe resilience—not as the ability to override yourself, but as the capacity to stay in relationship with yourself as you move through life.
We’ll explore the nervous system as the system that processes everything you experience, and begin building a different kind of strength—one rooted in awareness, resourcing, and the ability to respond rather than push through.
** As always, take what resonates and feels accessible and effective for you — and feel free to leave the rest! It will be here for you to return to and try again as time goes on, as circumstances change and as you deepen in this work and in relationship with yourself.
